 The Horse Schedule for the Huon Show includes competitions for Open, Show Hunter, Working Hunter, Pony Club, Showjumping, Pony Club Team of Three and Miniatures.

\*Note there will be no breed show this year.

**Entry Information**  
The [2025 Horse Schedule](https://www.huonshow.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/2025-Horse-Schedule-SJ.pdf) is available now to view. Entries for the equestrian section will be done via [Nominate](https://nominate.com.au/EquestDn/Event.aspx?e=EE6FE0A83AC54696993D1A0304D5FDFA&eventlist=24). **Note late entries will be charged a “late fee”.**

Entries close on the **11 November 2025.**

**Judging**  
Judging will commence at 9.00am.

**Safety**  
All riders must wear current safety standard approved helmets at all times whilst mounted.

**Definitions**  
Open Ring: Open to Reg. & Un-Reg. horses. No membership requirements.  
Novice Horse Class: Horse that has not won a first prize at ANY SHOW prior to this date.  
Novice Rider: Rider that has not won a first prize at ANY SHOW prior to this date.  
District: Exhibitor to be a resident of Municipality of Huon Valley or Kingborough.  
Pony Club: Exhibitor to be a financial member of a Pony Club.  
Age of rider: To be taken as at the 1st January in the year of the Show.

**Additional Information:**  
PRIZE MONEY: Champion and Reserve Champion as indicated throughout the program. Showjumping as indicated – All prize money paid out on Show Day after 1pm  
PRESENTATION: Presentation of Champion sashes and trophies will be given at time of judging.  
PLEASE NOTE: If a competitor chooses to compete in multiple rings, classes WILL NOT be held up if they clash. Judges discretion will apply.  
GROUND ENTRY: Entry to the grounds is restricted to vehicles with floats and/or horse trucks. All other vehicles MUST park in the main car park (access from Victoria Road).
